the bosque

I've been trying to paint some of what I see along the bosque trail near our house. The colors are much more subtle than the typical New Mexican landscape painting might suggest. Here are a couple of attempts...

    Wonderful-love to see more of your landscapes these seem to be a cross of S.P.Goodman and Stuart Shils -love your figure work also.

    Thanks AfromTo and Anonymous. I am a fan of Stuart Shils, but didn't know a thing about S. P. Goodman or Chelsea James. Thanks for the connections and the encouragement!
